A cute pooch has people on the streets of Tokyo doing a double take. It looks like a panda. Actually, it is a dog that's dyed to look like a panda. The poodle-Maltese cross was named ‘Columbo’ after the American television detective by pet shop owner Kensuke Hirakawa. It happened after he rescued the dog from being destroyed. The dog was very aggressive and would not stop barking. All its canine teeth have been extracted to prevent from biting and Its left hind leg is stiff from a past break. But little by little, Columbo became tame. He became a full panda three months ago. His owner said, that dying the dog to look like a panda made sense. That’s because it always had stains around dog’s eyes. Naturally white Columbo was dyed using a special dogs hair dye that lasts a month.
